Ryan watched in simple horror as the ghostly purple snake approached him, its forked tongue occasionally spitting out at him. He backed himself up into a bookshelf, scrambling to reach for an object. Grasping onto a lamp, he winged it at the ghost snake. However, the lamp simply went through it and ticking off the snake.

Just as Ryan was about to call for help, a sudden sinking feeling hit him in his torso. Looking down, he watched in terror as the snake entered his body. Ryan felt the phantom shifting and moving around in his body, nearly making him vomit from the feeling of it. A bright purple light began to emit off of Ryan as the snake was fully set within him.

Ryan felt it control its mind, the snake taking full charge of it while Ryan simply watched through his eyes as the main process began. Ryan felt as the power of the snake began to take over his body, starting with his head as Ryan began to feel something cover it.

Although he couldn't see it, Ryan felt the purple scales beginning to form on his skin all over his head. The hair on his head simply fell out onto the floor and was soon replaced with purple scales. Ryan's vision was cut briefly as his eyes changed. His cornea and iris merged with one another and simply created a black vertical line down the middle. The white in his eye was quickly turned into yellow.

Next, Ryan felt a sudden pain in his jaw and nose area. Looking down, he watched as both of them grew out of his face, totally reforming the shape of his skull in the process. His teeth fell out onto the ground except for two which turned into large fangs. His nose rested above his upper jaw while his tongue narrowed and forked.

"Hisssss!" Ryan tried to say something but was unable to speak human anymore.

Ryan began to feel the line of scales crawl down his neck and onto his torso. A band of yellow scales formed on his lower neck while the rest were purple. More yellow scales grew on his front side while purple ones were on back. Ryan managed to fight a little control of his body, being able to rip his shirt off to reveal his scales.

Suddenly, Ryan hissed loudly as a tremendous pain filled his neck, torso, and arms. His torso mainly suddenly began to narrow and concave inwards, painfully moving and transforming all of his internal organs into whatever he was becoming. While his torso narrowed, Ryan felt a strong pain in his arms as they began to merge to the side of his body.

Unable to pull his arms away from his side, Ryan simply watched as they became one with his now narrowed torso. He could feel the snake slowly taking over his body and mind, as scales began to cover his legs.

Yellow scales covered his front legs while purple covered the back. Ryan hissed in pain as he felt the bones of his legs begin to merge with one another. As his legs merged, his pants simply fell off of him. Hissing in pain once again, Ryan felt the bones in his legs become one, making him loose balance.

Ryan wobbled on his half human feet until he fell onto the ground. He felt that his very flexible spine and muscles was able to keep his head up, his new serpent abilities moving in. Looking over his body, he watched as his feet quickly merged into one. Round bumps formed on the end of his new tail, for he now had a rattler.

However, the transformation wasn't over yet. The phantom wanted to have its new body for itself, as it began to erase Ryan's mind. Ryan watched as all of his memories and moments of his life vanished, becoming a misty cloud of confusion. Within moments, Ryan was no longer himself, rather a freakishly large purple snake.
